When you return from studying abroad, your relationship with the Office of Global Education & Partnerships doesn't necessarily end. You may still be in contact with our office for several reasons:

Evaluations

Returning study abroad participants are strongly encouraged to fill out an evaluation to help our office understand what we or the program can improve or change to make a better study abroad experience for future students.

Make sure your grades/classes transfer correctly

Oftentimes foreign institution may send your grades/transcript to our office, which we then forward to the Registrar. Again, please note that it may take quite a few weeks for classes taken abroad to appear on your DARS.

Participate in Open Houses/Orientations

You help out our office and potential study abroad participants enormously when you volunteer your time to be an ambassador for your study abroad program. As a returnee, you can offer real-world suggestions as to where to go, what to pack, and other little advice and tidbits that will help future travelers.

When you return, please provide our office with updated phone, e-mail, and address information so we can get in contact with you if necessary.
