Hall of Fame Update
The Millersville University Athletic Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the honorees for the 14th annual induction. The following will be honored as part of Homecoming weekend, with the induction ceremony taking place Friday, October 31: Ryan Brink '01, baseball; Gail Cleveland '69, tennis; Lance Gelnett '92, men's basketball; William F. King '85, cross country and track and field; Sandra Peters, coach, educator and administrator; Diane Espenshade Suhr '86, field hockey and softball.

Mission
The purpose of the Millersville University Athletic Hall of Fame is to honor and perpetuate the memory of those individuals who, through participation, support, or interest, have made outstanding contributions to Millersville University athletics, and who have helped bring recognition, honor, distinction, or excellence to Millersville University and its intercollegiate athletics program.

Eligibility Criteria

A person will be considered eligible for nomination to the MU Athletic Hall of Fame if at the time of nomination he/she fulfills one of the following criteria:

1. Athlete
The individual participated in a varsity sport at Millersville University for two years and earned a baccalaureate degree from the University. The time period since receiving his/her first degree will be at least five years.

2. Alumni
The individual has made an outstanding contribution or offered extraordinary service to Millersville University athletics while as an undergraduate or since leaving the University. The time period since receiving his/her first degree will be at least five years.

3. Other
The individual did not attend Millersville University but has made significant contributions to MU athletics and has not been employed by the University for at least five years. This category may include but is not limited to: coaches, trainers, administrators, and faculty.
