Millersville Swimming Opens Registration for Marauder Aquatic Club
The Millersville women’s swimming and head coach Kyle Almoney has opened registration for the 2008-09 Marauder Aquatic Club, which is a competitive swimming club that competes in the Central Pennsylvania Aquatic League (CPAL) and in USA swimming events.

Rapp's School Record Highlights Marauders First Two Days at PSAC Championships
Freestyle specialist Kara Rapp (Myerstown/Lititz Christian) set a new school record in the 1,000-yard freestyle event at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships Thursday night. Her time of 10:55.73 was good enough for 13th place in the event and broke the old record set by Erin Eisenhofer (11:00.76) back in 2001. (full story)

Rapp Earns Second at ESU Invite; Will Join Three Other Marauders at PSAC Championships
Freestyle specialist Kara Rapp (jr. Myerstown/Lititz Christian) qualified for the PSAC Championships this past Saturday at the ESU Invite with a second-place showing in the 1650-yard freestyle event. She joins Marauder swimmers Sarah Johnson (sr. Bloomsburg/Bloomsburg), Katie McDade (jr. Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) and Becca Laufer (so. Mountville/Hempfield), who also qualified for the four-day event that begins Thursday, February 21, at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, Pa. (full story)

Marauder Swimmers Win One, Lose Two at Vulcan Invite
The Millersville University women’s swim team went 1-2 over the weekend at California University’s Vulcan Duals Invite.The Marauders (5-4) won six of eight events on Saturday to beat Mansfield 98-49. Katie McDade (jr. Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) placed first in three events including the 50-yard breaststroke (34.44 seconds) and the 100-yard individual medley (1:06.98). The Lady Marauder swim team had a tough opening day at California University 's Vulcan Dual Meet Challenge, falling 94-34 to the host Vulcans.Sarah Johnson (sr.
