Special Features

• Call Waiting

  This feature alerts you to an incoming call when you are using the phone and allows you to address the incoming call.

  Accept a call waiting

  1. Hear "short ring" during conversation
  2. Press Switchhook, hear "enter", press *4 (1st party on hold)
  3. Hang Up
  4. Hear ring, lift receiver (party on line)

  Switch between calls

  1. Press switchhook, hear "enter", press *4

  When one party hangs up, return to other party

  1. Press switchhookk down for 1 second,
  2. Hear "held"
  3. Press *4

  
  
• Conference - 3 party

  Allows three parties to converse at one time.

  With one party on line:

  1. Press switchhook, hear "enter"
  2. Dial phone number
  3. Announce conference call
  4. Press switchhook

  
  
• Do not Disturb

  Blocks incoming calls, calls will be forwarded to voicemail.

  Activate:

  1. Lift handset, press *6

  Cancel:

  1. Life handset, hear "private", press #6
  2. Hang up

  
  
• Hold

  Places an existing call on hold.

  1. Press switchhook, hear "enter", press *4
  2. Hang up (with one party on hold, you can make another call)

  Return to call on hold

  1. Lift handset - hear "held"
  2. Press *4

  Switch between calls with one party on hold

  1. Press switchhook, hear "enter" press *4

  When one party hangs up, return to other party

  1. Press switchook down for 1 second
  2. Hear "held"
  3. Press *4

  
  
• Redial

  Redial last dialed number(outside calls only).

  1. Lift handset, press #9

  "enter"	press a feature code
  "held"	you have a call on hold
  "conference"	you have a conference on hold
  "private"	you have activated "do not disturb"
  "voice message"	voicemail message(s) is/are waiting to be retrieved

  Note: Pressing the swtichhook for more than a second can disconnect your call.

  1. On campus - press *5 or dial 3926
  2. Off campus - dial 872-3926
