Mechanical Technology

Bachelors of Science - Industrial Technology (4 year, typ.)

Mechanical Technology Option

Degrees Offered: Bachelor of Science and Associate of Technology
Information effective for students admitted since fall 2007.

Students electing the Mechanical Technology option learn about fluid and electromechanical systems in a production environment. You will learn about and have experience with production tools, machines and products. You will also concentrate on application specific computer systems and the control of electrical, fluid, and mechanical power. This specialization offers both a bachelor's degree program (4 years, typ.) and an associate's degree program (2 years, typ.).

The coursework you'll complete is divided into two basic categories – general education (required by the University) and departmental requirements (major coursework). The information below details the departmental requirements for both the bachelor's degree and the associate's degree.
