MUPD Patrol Division

The Millersville University Police Department employs a dual-force concept, with both security officers and police officers patrolling the campus and environs. Patrols may be in a marked or unmarked police vehicle, on foot, or by bicycle. Plainclothes patrols are also utilized.

Patrol and general operations are directed by Lieutenant Eckenrod. Since MUPD enforces all Commonwealth of Pennsylvania criminal and traffic laws as well as University regulations around the clock all year, it is wise to become familiar with both.
